Dungeon Lootr (by ClickBytes) is a hack-and-slash dungeon ARPG on Roblox: you plunge into randomly generated dungeons, clear zones, open chests, kill the boss, and — most importantly — extract. The max player level is currently 175, and the official listing names Boss Rush and Challenge Dungeon as the two challenge modes.
The one rule that matters most: extract your loot
Loot you pick up during a run is not yours yet. It becomes permanent only when you complete the dungeon and extract. Dying anywhere in the run — or leaving early — deletes everything you collected that run. This applies to quest items too: the developers have explicitly warned that a Devil Heart drop notification only counts if you then finish the dungeon.
Play accordingly:
- Clear each zone fully — the HUD counts remaining enemies, and a glowing light pillar points to loot chests once the zone is cleared.
- After the boss, choose between two reward chests; deeper/faster clears improve chest quality.
- If a run goes sideways, weigh continuing against what you are carrying.
Classes: you probably start with what spins give you
Classes come from several sources, but early on it's the Class Hall spins. Community-reported Normal Spin odds (no official table exists): Rare ~50–70%, Epic ~20–30%, Legendary ~8–11%, Mythic ~2%, Celestial ~0.5–0.6%, Exotic 0.05%. Duplicate classes are not deleted — owning a class permanently unlocks switching to its moveset.
Don't chase rarity early. A Rare Greatsword or Bowman with full stat investment will carry you through the dungeon ladder while you bank resources. Follow the leveling build process for the exact route.
Stats: put everything in your damage stat
Four base stats: Strength (physical melee), Dexterity (ranged + crit/attack speed/dodge), Intelligence (magic), Vitality (HP). The in-game Stats UI marks a recommended archetype per class — follow it. Community consensus: skip Vitality until you can reliably dodge boss patterns, and even then only a few points (resets are available).
See the full stats guide for what each stat does.
Gear: wear it, then upgrade it
Gear has three slots — head, body, ring — plus your class weapon. Gear Score sums your worn, upgraded gear and class; only upgrade what you actually wear. Affixes (the stat lines on gear) are where damage actually comes from: prioritize your archetype's damage type, Critical Damage, Skill Damage, and Attack Speed.
The Forge NPC in the lobby handles Upgrade, Reforge, Protect, Enhance and Crafting. Reforging rerolls all affixes — including good ones — and costs Reforge Stones above +15, so don't reforge your early gear.
Your first session checklist
- Redeem every active code — free potions, coins and forge materials.
- Run Bandit's Den until the boss feels trivial, then push the dungeon ladder: Goblin's Stronghold → Forgotten Ruins → The Catacombs → Frostspire Bastion → Underworld Gate.
- Put every stat point into your class's damage stat.
- Only spend forge materials on gear you're wearing.
- Around level 55, Challenge Dungeon unlocks; around level 60–67, Boss Rush (community-reported levels — the game doesn't print them).
From there, pick a long-term target — the Unrestricted quest chain, a Boss Rush lane class, or Dreadlord — and start banking its materials. The Build Finder can turn that target into a concrete plan.
