How we handle game data

Most game sites blur the line between verified fact and guesswork. This page is the contract for every game fact you see here.

Verification levels

Official

The fact comes directly from the game's official Roblox listing, a developer announcement, or numbers published in the developer's changelog. Official drop rates are still bound to their specific mode, boss state, difficulty and wave threshold — we never copy a rate onto a different context.

Community verified

Multiple credible independent sources agree. Dungeon Lootr has no official wiki, so most reference data lives at this level at best. The relevant fan wikis and gaming-press tier lists are listed at the bottom of each page.

Sources conflict

Available sources disagree. We describe the disagreement instead of silently picking a winner. Examples you will see around the site: reward strings that differ between code lists, and aspect effects with two circulating versions.

Unverified

Information has not yet been verified. A class known only by name gets a page that says exactly that — not padded with plausible guesses. "Unknown / Not verified" is a real answer.

Freshness and verification dates

Every dynamic game-data page shows a Last verified date. That date comes from our content data — never from the moment you loaded the page — so stale content cannot masquerade as fresh. Game updates can invalidate old information quickly; when an update lands, entries that have not been re-checked are the first thing we revisit.

How recommendations are made

The Build Finder is deterministic rule-based logic — not an LLM and not random. It scores our build data by goal match, verification strength, update compatibility and aspect fit, then shows the best match with its confidence level and alternatives. The same inputs always produce the same plan.

Class suitability ratings (the 0–10 scores) are editorial summaries of community tier consensus: we take the median rating across at least three independent tier lists and only publish a number when they broadly agree. When lists genuinely split — as they do for Witch Gunner or Boxer — we omit the rating and say so.

No build is objectively "best". Recommendations depend on current balance, your unlocks and what you enjoy playing. Update 1.5 nerfed a top class and changed scaling; the next update will shift things again.

What we refuse to do

  • Invent drop rates, damage multipliers, spin rates or release dates.
  • Present community estimates as official numbers.
  • Publish rumors as facts — rumors are at most context for what to verify next.
  • Generate near-identical pages to farm search traffic.
  • Imply affiliation with Roblox, ClickBytes or the Dungeon Lootr developers.

Source priority

  1. Official Dungeon Lootr / ClickBytes sources (game listing, developer changelog)
  2. Direct in-game observation where documented
  3. Multiple independent credible sources (gaming press, established wikis)
  4. Single community or editorial source
  5. Rumors — normally not published as facts
