Dungeon Lootr Stats Explained

What Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Vitality actually do, how derived stats work, and the archetype rule for allocating points.

Dungeon Lootr has four base stats — Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Vitality — allocated from stat points (SP) earned on level up, via the Inventory menu. The exact per-point formulas are not officially published; what follows is the multi-source community consensus, flagged where it rests on thin evidence.

The four base stats

  • Strength (STR) — physical melee attack and skill damage. The stat for physical archetypes.
  • Dexterity (DEX) — ranged attack and skill damage, plus crit rate, attack speed, dodge and cooldown reduction. The in-game Stats UI literally uses Bowman as its Dexterity example.
  • Intelligence (INT) — magic attack and skill damage, plus cooldown reduction.
  • Vitality (VIT) — max HP and minor regeneration. No damage contribution.

The four-stat system is corroborated by the official side: developer hotfix notes describe titles in exactly these terms (e.g. "+15 DEX, +5 STR, +28 INT, +10 VIT").

The archetype rule

Each class has an archetype (visible in Inventory → Class Info): physical → all STR, ranged → all DEX, magic → all INT. The Stats UI marks recommended stats per class. The Auto button exists but adds Vitality; most players allocate manually.

Vitality is a crutch for content you haven't learned yet — a few points while progressing a new difficulty is fine, then reset. Points are resettable, so an early "wrong" allocation is never permanent.

Derived stats: where damage actually comes from

Your effective damage is carried by derived stats that come from gear affixes, not raw base stats or Gear Score:

  • Basic damage, critical damage, skill damage
  • Armor shred — community guides call it "the boss killer outright"
  • Attack speed, cooldown reduction, life steal, dodge

This is why an affixless endgame piece can add literally nothing to your damage sheet — Nerdschalk demonstrated this with a Living Armor. Affix quality beats item rarity for output.

Luck

Luck appears on titles and the Increased Luck gamepass (349 Robux, official description: affects quest-item, chest-drop and equipment-rarity luck). Luck Potions are consumable boosts (codes often give them). The actual formula is unpublished — treat any specific luck math you read as an estimate.

Titles are free stats

Titles are permanent stat packages earned from progression and battle passes — e.g. Paragon (+10 all stats, pass endpoint), Iron Sights (+17 DEX), God Hunter (Artemis 50), King of Curses (Cursed King 50), Artisan/War Smith (+8). Check the title list before manually stacking a stat a title already covers.

Putting it together

  1. All points into your archetype stat.
  2. Gear affixes: archetype damage > crit damage > skill damage > attack speed; reforge away defensive lines on damage pieces.
  3. Don't stack VIT past a learning crutch; reset it later.
  4. Use the Build Finder to get a class-specific stat plan instantly.
