Dungeon Lootr Farming Guide

How to farm efficiently: extraction rules, drop-rate provenance, the best material routes, and how to plan a farm with real probability math.

Farming in Dungeon Lootr is an extraction game with mode-specific drop tables. This guide covers the mechanics that actually change your results, the best-documented routes, and how to set expectations with probability instead of vibes.

Rules that govern every farm

Extraction or nothing. Drops only become permanent when you finish the run. A "dropped!" notification you don't extract is worth nothing (the developers said this explicitly about Devil Hearts).

Rates are bound to their context. A 30% rate from an enraged Boss Rush boss cannot be copied onto a dungeon chest. The developer publishes rates per mode/boss-state/difficulty/wave threshold. When you use our Drop Rate Calculator, make sure the rate you enter matches the content you'll actually run.

Weekend bonuses. During the Update 1.5 era, Friday–Sunday double rare-drop/quest-item events ran ("stacks with game passes" per community video — the stacking details are not official).

Provenance: official vs community rates

We label every rate on this site. Official (developer changelog) examples: Devil Heart 35%, Exotic Essence 30%/5% (two routes), Exotic Ore 35% (Scarlet Knight, wave 30+), Reforge Stones 5/15/30% by boss state, Heavenly Fragment 15%, Skull Totem trigger 5%.

Community estimates (treat as approximate): the 1% Underworld Glaive, the 8–18 lane-fragment range, spin odds, aspect weights. If a rate's label says community estimate, the Farm Planner will say so too.

High-value routes

  • Exotic Essence (Living Armor, Supernova Ring): Challenge Dungeon boss kills at 30% is the best documented route. See the Challenge Dungeon guide.
  • Heavenly Fragments (Unrestricted quest): 15% per Boss Rush boss (official) or ~5% per Challenge Dungeon boss (community) — pick the route you clear faster.
  • Devil Heart (Awakened Devil EX / Jetstream / Devil Hunter): 35% drop from the hidden Awakened Devil boss in Frostspire Bastion Nightmare — appearance rate is disputed (~15% per community guides vs 35% per an official special-boss-room changelog), the boss is summonable with keys, and you can hold 10 hearts at once.
  • Lane fragments (Cursed King / Honored One / Anti Magic): Boss Rush floor 100 lane bosses, 8–18 per kill.
  • Exotic Ingot economy: 5 Exotic Ore smelts to 1 ingot; Update 1.5 Dismantle returns ~40% of upgrade materials from gear you break down.

Farming classes

Clear speed is the real farming stat — more runs per hour beats a slightly better drop modifier you can't verify. Community picks:

Plan the farm before you start

Two numbers keep expectations honest:

  1. Chance of at least one drop over N runs1 − (1 − p)^N. At 8%, twenty runs gives you 81.1%, not 100%.
  2. Runs for a confidence level — how many runs until you can expect success (50/75/90/95/99%). For multiple copies, only the binomial math in the Farm Planner is correct — multiplying the one-drop formula is not.

One unknown we deliberately do not model: whether party drops are shared or per-player. No source — official or community — documents party loot rules. Farm solo or don't rely on party math until that's verified.
